Ameri*KA*JIN

I've been doing something very new lately and I'm enjoying it. I've been taking Japanese lessons. The method I'm learning skips that basic vocabulary crap and starts at beginner conversational skills. It teaches you how to get by with a simple structure of the language. I'm learning a lot so far and there are a LOT of Japanese customers that come into the bank (my job). Apparently, upper Dutchess County has a triving Asian population, in particular, Korean & Japanese. I can get a basic conversation going and the customers are pretty impressed. I wanted to dive into something new and extreme this year. Japanese is a pretty interesting and business practical start. What's next? The screenplay. I've been planning and thinking about it for over three years. In that time, I could've written over three of them, maybe more. This year, I'll have the balls to actually start it. Before the winter ends, the writing begins...

Returner...again.

I watched this tonight, "Returner". I got it in Chinatown for 6 bucks on VCD two years ago. The special effects still blow my mind. It's got subtitles but SO WHAT? Pick it up suckas! Definately one of the most action packed Japanese action films I've ever seen...RETURNER Posted by Hello

Deadline

It's been snowing up here like crazy. We got maybe 3-6 inches and I'm pretty happy. I love the snow. What can I say? I'm still working like a madman touching up the DnB tracks for this Bakwoods DVD. If I'm lucky, I'll have it done this weekend. I've been ok with the previous techno songs I've made. I'm seriously thinking about remixing the last techno CD I did, "Wild Zero Grudge". I made that one badly and I personally don't like it much. I think I rushed it just to have the satisfaction of another collection of new tracks floating out there. If you want to check the songs out, go to www.internetdj.com/djunleaded The CD before that one, "Afterlife"; I took SO much time with it, making sure it was perfect. "Wild Zero Grudge"? Definately rushed...Definately SUCKED.

Poster

Yes, I actually had a promo poster for the CD. It's pretty important to get some type of teaser image going out there. I emailed this to a huge amount of people and they knew that's what they wanted to hear. This was the first Hip Hop mix CD I've done in over a year. I've been so absorbed with the electronic dance music, which is not a bad thing in any way.

Are you ready for this?

I am starting this wondering what way can I make a big bang? By that meaning, one would think that I'm ready to take over the world. I'm not there just yet. I am now a married man and it's really cool. I enjoy this "married" life with the sense of knowing that it's pretty damn good. I'm in the "lab" as we DJs and producers like to call it.
Yeah, I'm a DJ and a producer. Am I famous? No...But why should that matter? I spin, mix and cut the Hip Hop & R&B. I've produced Abstract Hip Hop beats, House, Techno & Trance mix CDs. The latest one is The Illumination Project and it's bangin with fire. Right now, my Kappa Sigma boys: Maff, "Raver Joe" and MJ started the hot snowboarder's website www.bakwoods.com and it's really taking off. They have a big fan base and that's always good. I've been working on music for their new snowboarding DVD. It's been a process because I'm producing fresh Drum & Bass tracks for them. It's taking a while because I've never done the DnB before...I pray it's HOT. Back to the lab...
